Bailey Military Institute offers a unique program for Intermediate through High School that includes National Defense Cadet Corps courses for home-schooled students in grades 9-12 and Leadership Development courses for Grades 6-8.
BMI is a day only school.
To apply to one of the programs submit an application for admission and a $25.00 application fee along with appropriate transcripts to:

• Intermediate students must have finished Elementary school.
• High school students must have finished Intermediate school.
• Students must have been in good standing with the last school they attended.
• Home schooled students must be able to attend Military Lab Training from 07:30 to10:30 on Saturdays.
• Tuition for Day students is $3,500.00 per year.
• Tuition for Home Schooled students is $350.00 per year and only includes Military Science and Leadership Lab.
• Organized athletics for Day students and Home schooled students include: Basket ball, soccer and track for boys and girls. Volleyball will also be offered for girls.
• All athletes must take a physical examination and purchase school insurance.

  Student Grading Scheme is as follows:

  • A = 90-100
  • B = 80-89
  • C = 75-79
  • D = 70-74
  • F = 0-69

  Cadet grades will be based on performance in the following activities:

  • Portfolio - 20%
  • Uniform/Dress Out - 20%
  • Physical Training - 15%
  • Examinations - 20%
  • Leadership - 20%
  • Reading - 5%
  Athletics

  Organized athletics for Home Schooled students include: basketball, soccer, and fencing for boys and girls. Volleyball will also be offered for girls. Military Teams are also available. All athletes must pass a physical examination and purchase school insurance.
