Bailey Military was founded by the Bailey family in honor of Major General John H. Bailey, II who rose from Private in the Regular Army to Major General in the Texas State Guard. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam, one as a Paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division and one as a Fixed Wing Aviator with the 1st Aviation Brigade and was decorated for heroism three times in 1968. General Bailey is an Army Officer Candidate School Graduate.
